Why do we care more and more about eating what's inside?

To tell you the truth, when I saw this report on trends in the red book food industry in 2025, I was staring at that data. More than 150 million people talk on the platform, with an average monthly interaction of over 300 million, and a 56 per cent increase in the rate of explosion. To be honest, it's not just a change in “eating”, it's a change in the mindset of everyone to “eating”.

We used to read the food report, which restaurant was the longest line and which one was the hottest. But the words mentioned in this report make me particularly interesting:Clean diet, herbal feeding, local taste, emotional food. Jean.I don't know.

To put it simply, this generation of young people, who have long passed the “basket-only” stage, are spending three meals a day to rebuild their relationship with the world.

Don't count the calories. We just want to eat clean. Points

I don't know if you've noticed, there are fewer people in the circle of friends who count calorie every day and eat "life signs for maintenance" (that is, people's dry meals, white meals). The data in the report shows that the word "clean" has entered the food hot word Top100, and the subject has been viewed as much as possible.1.4 billion+I don't know.

From low-fat, low-calorie to dry rice, to the present “clean diet”, this is a particularly visible cognitive upgrading. And you've finally realized that the "digital game" is so anti-human.

Now, “clean” refers to clean distribution tables, simple cooking and balanced structures. Think about it. You've been working all day, you've been drained by KPI and all sorts of trifles, and you've come home and you're going to eat the soulless white-water chicken chests to calculate the amount of carbon and protein?

Instead of using cold figures to discipline our bodies, we try to recover the energy and nourishment of our food source through natural, high-quality food.

This is actually a kind of reconciliation. Admitting to be a normal person who needs to be treated well, recharging a tired body with a balanced, fresh meal. Eat it clean, not to show it thin, but to make yourself more quality.

Drink the grassbook into the milk tea. It's the last adult stubbornness. Strong

When it comes to breeding, it used to be a patent for elders. But now the young people, they're trying to make a new living. This is what the report says:Super food, Chinese grass, fruit and grain. It's become a hot ingredient, and sour dates and platinum, which sounds like age-sensitive medicine, are stuffed into young people's tea cups.

The logic behind this goes from "spring in the warmth cup" to "grass-based drinks." People want to feed, but they can't give up their daily happiness. Milk tea and coffee are life-saving water for workers, and if you add some grass in it, it's both a cure and a feeling of good health.

This light-quantitative, everyday health management is, to put it simply, a small balance we find ourselves in a fast-paced life. We can't get up early and exercise every day, but at least we can order a drink, pick a skin and pretend to be a little healthier today.

If you can't get far, let the taste bud take a vacation first.

There's also a particularly obvious trend this year:It's a strange place.Fire. There has been a significant increase in the interaction of commercial notes with Yunnan food, twilight beef, and sour soup from Guizhou, especially food from Yungu and Xinjiang.230 +I don't know.

It's actually a kind of "love bud payback" from the tourist tropics. Many people may not be able to buy an air ticket to go to Guizhou for a decent sour meal, or to Yunnan for a taste of oxen hep. But it's okay. Taste buds can travel first.

These are the foods that you enjoy, not just because of the taste of wonders, but also because of the paltry memories and deep folklore.

It's been a long time in the city of steel and cement, and we've longed for a human face with dirt and smoke. Eating the acid soup of the tunnel as if it felt the breeze in the southwest mountains.

This “travel to the tip of the tongue” is actually a way to touch the wider world with a sense of taste and to make up for the fact that we cannot leave at any time in real life.

In the kitchen, “psychotic”, eating is a feeling.

Finally, I want to talk about the part of the report that makes me laugh:Emotional cook.I don't know.

# I have a dream dish # It sounds like a little bit of a second-rate topic, and it's like a billion views. Cooking is no longer for diarrhea, not even for food, but for “fun” and “cure”.

In the kitchen, you dare try all sorts of weird combinations and turn cooking into a social game. What does that mean? AnnotationsIt's a feeling.I don't know.

In a time of uncertainty, food becomes the definitive spiritual comfort. It is important to have a good meal, but it is even more important to have a sense of pleasure, to resonate with friends, and to release pressure in the production process. It's too late for brands to focus on “good taste” for marketing. Consumers now want emotional values, fun, identity.

It's a matter of heart at the table.

After reading the report, I sat quietly for a while.

From calculus to the pursuit of clean diets, from punks to herbal tea, from longing for distance to emotional food. These four trends seem different, but the bottom logic is strangely consistent:We are moving from “outside” to “inside”.

We used to eat for pay, for face, to keep up with certain trends. But now, we care more about this meal, my body is uncomfortable, my mood is good.

Three meals a day, which seemed to be an extraordinary biological necessity, became the only small ritual in the world where we were in full control.

To be honest, life is complicated enough to find a sense of control over itself and a pure joy in three meals a day.

Next time you eat, you can drop your phone and not think about the data and reports. Just feel the temperature of the food and taste it.

After all, eating is loving yourself.

I think it's enlightening and I'm looking at it.
